Sean O'Brien

Sean O'Brien, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sean started their career as an Assurance and Advisory Associate at Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP in October 2016 and worked there until July 2018. After that, they joined Carta as an SMB Account Executive, where they helped private and public companies, investors, and employees manage their cap tables, valuations, portfolio investments, and equity plans. Sean then transitioned to the role of Mid-Market Account Executive at Carta in April 2019 and later became an Enterprise Account Executive | Investor Services in January 2021. In 2022, they moved to Mosaic.tech, where they worked as an Enterprise Account Executive until May 2023. Currently, they are working as a Member at Pavilion since March 2022 and is assuming the position of Regional Sales Director at Diligent starting from October 2023.

Sean O'Brien, CPA earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of San Diego in 2016. Sean has also obtained additional certifications, including The Bloomberg Essentials from Bloomberg LP in 2015 and the Microsoft Office Specialist certification from Microsoft in 2013. Sean is also a certified CPA by the California Board of Accountancy.
