Maria Elkin

Maria Elkin has over three decades of experience in banking and operations management. Currently, Maria serves as the Director of Branch Operations at both Dime Community Bank and BNB Bank since May 2016. Previously, Maria held the position of Vice President of Operation & Project Management at BankUnited from April 2013 to March 2016, where responsibilities included developing comprehensive internal control programs in collaboration with various departments. During a long tenure at Capital One from January 2000 to April 2013, Maria managed a staff of 21 while overseeing adherence to procedures for a network of over 350 branches. Earlier in the career, Maria served as Client Service Leader at KeyBank, developing and managing private banking clients and directing a team of 18 employees. Maria's professional journey began as an Office Manager at Flowertime from 1985 to 1989.
