Kevin van der Pol

Kevin van der Pol has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Kevin started their career as a Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen University, where they contributed to the development of the software modeling language MILS-AADL. Kevin then worked as a Software Engineer at Mapscape, where they collaborated on creating maps for car navigation systems. Kevin has also worked as a Software Engineer at Skalar Analytical, Sioux CCM, and TNO, where they gained experience in designing and developing software for various projects. Kevin has been involved in projects such as developing a handheld real-time 3D scanner and creating tools for large-scale refactorings on legacy codebases. Kevin's most recent role was as a Scrum Product Owner at Dimenco. Kevin also had multiple roles at TMC, including Employeneur Software and Senior Lead Software Designer, where they focused on improving their software development skills and acquiring expertise in both hard skills and soft skills. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at Alstom and a Senior Lead Software Designer at Philips through TMC. Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated their ability to bring direction to development efforts, make clear decisions, and maintain accurate planning to deliver projects on time and with reliable results.

Kevin van der Pol completed their education with a Master's Degree from Eindhoven University of Technology, starting in 2010 and graduating in 2013. Prior to their Master's Degree, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree at the same institution from 2006 to 2010. Before attending university, Kevin completed their secondary education at Dr. Mollercollege. In addition to their academic achievements, Kevin obtained certification as a Certified Project Management Associate IPMA Level D from the International Project Management Association in July 2021.
