DISC Village
Madeline Garrett, LCSW graduated from the University of Southern California with her Master’s in Clinical Social Work and has been licensed in the state of Florida since 2019. She has been employed at DISC Village since 2016, working to integrate child welfare and behavioral health by providing substance abuse treatment, trauma therapy, and parenting interventions. Her background is in psychology, mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, sexual trauma, military social work, criminology, and leadership. She practices from a relational model and is trained in EMDR. Madeline is an advocate for her clients, showing them unconditional positive regard and empowering them to make lasting changes despite experienced intergenerational trauma.
Madeline currently supervises the Family Intensive Treatment team for the eight counties of the Big Bend region. This team works in the clients’ homes and consists of peer support specialists, counselors, and a case manager.

DISC Village is a private, non-profit corporation that provides a full continuum of services from prevention and intervention to residential treatment and aftercare services for individuals adversely affected by alcohol and other drug abuse, and those who may be involved in the criminal and/or juvenile justice systems.
