Kan Wang

Kan Wang is a highly experienced data scientist with a robust background in quantitative analysis and model development. Currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at Discount Tire since May 2023, Kan has previously held significant roles such as Senior Data Scientist at Blue Apron and VP Senior Quantitative Model Developer at BNY Mellon, where responsibilities included supervising model development projects and conducting advanced statistical analyses. Kan's earlier positions also include roles as a Quantitative Analyst and Financial Analyst at BNY Mellon, and academic roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University at Buffalo. Kan possesses dual Master's degrees in Biostatistics and Mathematics from the University at Buffalo, achieved between 2011 and 2016.
