Gonçalo Aires

Gonçalo Aires has a diverse work experience history. Gonçalo started their career as a part-time Credit Recoverer at Banco Mais in 2003. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Auditor at KPMG. Following that, they joined Açoreana Seguros as a Planning and Management Control specialist from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they became a Partner at both Web Labs, Lda and Packman Solutions. After that, they joined Pestana Hotel Group, where they held the positions of Director of Purchasing from 2014 to 2019 and International Financial Director for Mozambique and South Africa from 2014 to 2018. Currently, they are working at Discovery Hotel Management as the Director of Purchasing/Controller of Costs since October 2019.

Gonçalo Aires began their education in 1989 at Salesianos Lisboa - Oficinas de São José, where they completed their primary education. From 1993 to 1998, they attended Escola Vieira da Silva for their preparatory education. Following that, from 1998 to 2001, they studied at Escola Secundária Linda-a-Velha, where they earned their secondary education in Economics. In 2001, Gonçalo enrolled at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, where they completed their bachelor's degree in Organization and Business Management from 2001 to 2006. Gonçalo later pursued further education at INDEG - ISCTE Business School, where they obtained a Master's degree in Executive Finance and Business Control from 2010 to 2012.
