Saurav Kumar has a diverse work experience in the e-commerce and retail industry. Saurav started their career as a Technical Assistant at HCL Infosystems Ltd. in 2011. Saurav then worked as a Senior Associate Consultant at Policy Bazaar for two years, where they received awards for their sales performance. Later, Saurav joined Limeroad.com as a Merchandiser and Category Manager, responsible for managing various categories such as Beauty, Watches, Eyewear, and Jewellery. During their time at Limeroad.com, they successfully launched new product lines, negotiated prices with vendors, and maintained vendor relationships. In 2020, Saurav joined VGL Group as a Buying-Merchandiser, focusing on Beauty and Wellness products. Saurav successfully sourced and exported high-quality products, achieving significant growth within a year. In 2021, Saurav joined Shop LC GmbH as a Category Manager, where they managed Fashion & Accessories, Home & Garden, and Beauty categories. Currently, they are working at Distacart as a Category Manager, handling Beauty & Personal Care, Clothing, Watches, Eyewear, and Jewellery categories. Saurav has a proven track record in sourcing, merchandising, inventory forecasting, negotiation, retail, and event/promotion management. Overall, they have demonstrated their skills in category management and driving growth in the e-commerce industry.

From 2008 to 2012, Saurav Kumar pursued their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Punjab Technical University.
