Farooz Alikhan

Farooz Alikhan has extensive experience in Information Technology. Farooz began their career in 1996 at Incyte Genomics as a Database Administrator, where they established IT policies and governed the installation of new Oracle products. In 2002, they joined Actify, Inc. as an IT Administrator, where they resolved various IT issues. From 2003 to 2006, they worked at Divco West Properties as an IT Manager, responsible for overseeing IT operations and negotiating contracts with vendors. Alikhan then founded FAIT Services in 2006, serving as President until 2012. In this role, they integrated applications into cloud-based services and upheld data security. Since 2013, Alikhan has been with DivcoWest, holding the position of Managing Director - Information Technology. Here, they have strategically partnered with various functions of the business to understand and address their IT needs, as well as develop a growth plan for the IT department.

Farooz Alikhan pursued their education in a chronological order. In 1992, they enrolled at Maryville University of Saint Louis and completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry & Biology in 1996. After several years, in 2021, they decided to continue their educational journey and enrolled at Maryville University of Saint Louis once again, this time to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity. Farooz completed their Master's degree in 2022.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Farooz Alikhan also obtained several certifications. In July 2021, they earned the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA. Furthermore, in early 2022, they acquired the Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers certification from LinkedIn, as well as the Leadership Tips, Tactics, and Advice certification, also from LinkedIn.
