Ana Benhalim has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Student Body Vice President at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2007. Ana then interned at the Greater Dallas Chamber and later at The Association of American Universities, where they contributed to various research projects on higher education issues.
In 2009, Ana worked as a Manager of Healthcare Initiatives at the Dallas Regional Chamber. Ana then became a Graduate Assistant at The College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Austin, where they focused on implementing the UTurn Program and conducting an assessment project.
Following this, they worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Greek, Leadership, and Intercultural Education department within the Dean of Students office at the University of Texas at Austin. Here, Ana gained experience in student affairs work and advised Greek groups on campus.
In 2011, they joined The University of Texas System as a Senior Program Manager for The Archer Center. Their responsibilities included overseeing and working with the Archer Fellows in all aspects of their Washington, DC fellowship.
From 2019-2019, Ana briefly worked as an Operations Specialist at BGSD Strategies before joining DiversityWealth in 2018 as a Resource Manager & Curriculum Design Specialist. In this role, they aided in building bridges of understanding through corporate coaching, diversity training, and the development of educational tools for clients including school districts and city governments.
Overall, Ana has a range of experience in program management, curriculum design, leadership development, and higher education research.
Ana Benhalim completed a BA in Historical Studies and Literary Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2005 to 2008. Afterward, they pursued an MEd in Higher Education Administration at The University of Texas at Austin from 2009 to 2011.
