Nicholas Tan

Nicholas Tan is the current Chief Product Officer at DKATALIS. Prior to this, they were the Head of Platforms, Ecosystems and Partnerships at OneConnect Financial Technology, where they were responsible for revenues and growth of OneConnect's fintech platforms across APAC. Nicholas has also worked as a Regional Product Manager at Garena and as a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group.

At The Boston Consulting Group, Nicholas led the development of a five-year strategy for a leading regional bank in Southeast Asia and worked with senior executives to develop and implement the strategy, with a focus on increasing revenue productivity in the front office and controlling bank-wide costs. Nicholas also supported the development of an mobile application for a leading Southeast Asian bank to disrupt the retail market.

Nicholas has also worked independently with the Head of Marketing at a major media company in Southeast Asia to integrate sales forces across multiple media platforms, increase sales force productivity, and re-define sales incentives for all sales teams. In addition, they have defined a strategic roadmap for a ASEAN sovereign wealth fund to setup a new investment vehicle focusing on new infrastructure developments and developed a plan for an ASEAN government organisation to promote sustainability in the architecture and construction industries.

Nicholas Tan earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Nicholas also holds a ScB in Chemistry from Brown University, and they completed their A levels at Raffles Institution.
