Ariadna Quattoni

Ariadna is the cofounder & CTO of dMetrics. Ariadna leads dMetrics’ technical team and is responsible for our technical strategy. She received her PhD in Computer Science from MIT in 2009 and has worked as a Research Scientist at Xerox Research Centre Europe and the Technical University of Catalonia, focused on Machine Learning with applications to NLP and information extraction. Her current research focuses on structured prediction, latent variable models and interactive machine learning, which power the dMetrics NLP architecture. Ariadna publishes in top NLP and ML conferences and journals. She is the author of more than 40 papers who have been cited >3,400 times. She is the recipient of a best paper award from the top European NLP conference (EACL) and has received several grant awards from the Spanish government and the EU. She is an active participant and leader of many international NLP and ML conferences, including machine learning area chair for EMNLP 2016, ACL 2018, and NIPS 2017.
