Jamie East

Jamie East currently serves as the Head of Podcasts at dmg media since July 2023. As a Co-Founder of The Smart 7, launched in April 2020, Jamie has developed the fastest growing daily news podcast in the UK. Previous experience includes roles as Head of Audio at Sporting News, Producer at Netflix, and Executive Producer at Studio 1. Notably, Jamie was a Radio Presenter at talkRADIO, hosting the weekend's most popular show, and served as the chief Film Critic for The Sun Newspaper. Additional experience includes broadcasting at Virgin Radio and founding Holy Moly Productions Ltd. From 2004 to 2007, Jamie held the position of Operations Manager for Sky Sports Online, where contributions included the development of streaming platform services for several major football clubs.
