Mohammadreza Sohbati

Mohammadreza Sohbati has extensive work experience in both the academic and commercial sectors. Mohammadreza began their career at Imperial College London's Centre for Bio-inspired Technology, where they served as a PhD student and later as a Post Doctoral Research Associate from 2011 to 2017. In 2015, they co-founded DNANUDGE and initially held the role of Commercial Director. Currently, they are a Founding Member and Executive Vice President at DNANUDGE, a position they have held since November 2022.

Mohammadreza Sohbati completed their Executive MBA at the London Business School from 2022 to 2024. Before that, they obtained their PhD in Circuits and Systems for pH-based DNA Detection from Imperial College London, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Prior to their PhD, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Integrated Circuit Design from Imperial College London, completing their studies in 2010.

Mohammadreza'sundergraduate education was at the University of Tehran, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Electrical and Electronics-Telecommunication from 2005 to 2009. Before that, they acquired a High School Diploma with a focus on Mathematics and Physics from Allameh Helli Kerman | National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents in 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Mohammadreza Sohbati earned several certifications. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Private Equity from the Imperial College Business School. Mohammadreza also completed certifications in Strategy Execution from Harvard Business School Online in 2021, and in Alternative Investments from Harvard Business School Online in 2020. In 2019, they earned certifications in Leading with Finance, Management Essentials, and Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School Online. Earlier, in 2015, they obtained certifications in Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School Online.
