Head of Supply Chain at dnaNUDGE

Neil Isted, MBA, has extensive work experience in supply chain management and demand planning.

Neil is currently the Head of Supply Chain at DNANUDGE, where they manage the supply chain department, including logistics, fulfillment, inventory, procurement, supply management, demand planning, forecasting, kitting operations, and sales and operations planning (S/OP). Neil is also responsible for enhancing a 3PL center into a more focused kitting and deployment center and developing and implementing demand planning, forecasting, and S/OP structures and processes.

Prior to their current role, Neil worked at Magrabi Optical as a Senior Supply Chain Manager and JDA Project Manager. Neil was responsible for full ownership of the JDA program, managing installation projects of allocation and assortment optimization. Neil successfully managed resources, costs, change management, and data throughout every stage of the projects, ensuring they were completed within budget and on time.

Neil also gained valuable experience at SPECSAVERS OPTICAL GROUP as the European Supply Chain Manager - Frames. In this role, they managed the European supply chain professionals and was responsible for demand planning, procurement, inventory management, distribution resource management, and S/OP ownership.

Before joining Magrabi Optical and SPECSAVERS OPTICAL GROUP, Neil worked at Bayer as a Demand Manager, overseeing demand management in the UK region across four business areas. Neil managed a team of demand planners and focused on forecast accuracy, supplier performance, order management, and new product introduction.

Neil's earlier work experience includes roles at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals as a Demand Manager, where they managed a small professional supply chain team and was responsible for forecasting, new product introduction, demand management, and compliance. Neil also worked as a Pharmaceutical Compliance Planner, managing the UK Affiliate supply chain for three pharmaceutical divisions.

Prior to their experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Neil worked at Estee Lauder as a Brand Forecaster and Senior Liquids Planner. Neil managed a small production supply team within an MRP2 environment and achieved significant cost savings through the implementation of VMI with key fragrance suppliers.

Neil also has experience in production planning coordination at Kraft Foods and held roles in quality assurance and production planning at Manor Bakeries.

Early in their career, Neil worked as a Trainee Draughtsman and Production Manager's Assistant at Mayor Turnstiles.

Throughout their career, Neil Isted has demonstrated expertise in managing supply chains, demand planning, project management, cost control, and process improvement. Their diverse experience in various industries has equipped him with a comprehensive skill set for driving success in supply chain management.

Neil Isted completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in the field of Masters in Business Administration from the University of Portsmouth. Neil attended the university from 2006 to 2009.
