Baton Haxhimehmedi

Baton Haxhimehmedi has a diverse range of work experience in the finance and accounting industry.

Starting with DNO ASA in 2017, Baton held the role of Head of Group Accounting & Reporting until October 2021. Following this, they became the Deputy CFO, a position they currently hold.

Prior to DNO ASA, Baton worked at KPMG Norway as a Manager from October 2014 to March 2017. In this role, they were responsible for planning, budgeting, and auditing medium-sized and large international clients, primarily in the upstream oil industry. Before becoming a Manager, Baton was a Senior Auditor at KPMG Norway from June 2013 to September 2014, where they led audit teams for various medium-sized and large international companies.

In 2008, Baton started their career at EY as an Associate, where they conducted audits for medium-sized and large international companies in various industries, including the upstream oil industry, consulting, automotive, shipping, and others. Baton later became a Senior Associate at EY, taking on additional team lead responsibilities from September 2010 to May 2013.

Prior to their professional career, Baton worked part-time at DNB during their BSc studies. In this role, they provided customer service and handled back-office operations, specifically focusing on online banking for enterprises from April 2007 to June 2008.

Baton Haxhimehmedi completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business and Economics at the BI Norwegian Business School from 2005 to 2008. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2012, Baton pursued a Master's degree in Accounting and Auditing at the same institution. As part of the master's program, Baton specialized in Professional Study and became a State Authorized Public Accountant. In January 2015, Baton obtained a certification as a State Authorized Public Accountant from Finanstilsynet (FSA Norway).
