Tadayoshi Sakota has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Tadayoshi began their legal career as an Extern Deputy Prosecutor at the Ada County Prosecutors Office - Juvenile Division in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Tax Preparer at Sageland CPA. Later that year, Sakota joined Docutech® as a Legal and Compliance Attorney, a role they held until 2017. Tadayoshi then became a Corporate Counsel at the same company in 2018. In 2019, they established their own law firm called Sakota Law, PLLC, where they served as the Owner/Attorney. That year, they also worked as a Faculty Coordinator at Brigham Young University - Idaho. In 2019, Sakota moved on to work as an Attorney at Fn Law Group, where they managed a contract for a prepaid legal service called Legal Shield, focusing on Business Advising and Estate Planning. In 2020, they joined Smart Schofield Shorter, P.C. as an Attorney, where they continued to provide legal advice in various areas of the law. Prior to their legal career, Sakota gained experience as a Dance Instructor Teachers Assistant and Student Dance Instructor/Director at BYU-Idaho Dance Department. Tadayoshi also worked as a Program Intern at Chicago Urban Studies in 2008.

Tadayoshi Sakota pursued their education trajectory starting from the year 2002 when they enrolled in Brigham Young University - Idaho for a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work. This educational pursuit continued for a duration of seven years, concluding in 2009. Later, they decided to further their education in the field of law, leading him to join the University of Idaho College of Law in 2011. Over the course of three years, from 2011 to 2014, Tadayoshi Sakota successfully completed their studies and earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Idaho College of Law.
