Justin Freed

Justin Freed, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Tax Accounting at Dole Food Company since September 2025. Prior to this role, Justin held the position of Director of Tax Operations at Brightspeed from May 2022 to September 2025, and served as Senior Manager at Cherry Bekaert LLP for a brief period in early 2022. Justin's previous experience includes significant tax management roles at Clariant, RSM US LLP, and Duke Energy Corporation, where responsibilities ranged from Tax Manager to Tax Analyst. Justin holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and an MBA from the same institution, along with a degree in Hospitality Management from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
