Meriem Semache

Senior Scientist at Domain Therapeutics

Meriem Semache has been working in the scientific field since 2003. Meriem began their career as a Masters Student at the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center - Dr. Grant Mitchell's lab in 2003. In 2008, they became a PhD Candidate at the Montreal Diabetes Research Center - Dr Vincent Poitout's lab, where they earned their Ph.D. in Biochemistry with a thesis titled "Role of PASK in the regulation of PDX-1 in pancreatic beta cells". From 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institut de recherche en immunologie et en cancérologie (IRIC) - Pr. Michel Bouvier's lab. Currently, they are employed as a Scientist at DOMAIN Therapeutics NA Inc.

Meriem Semache received their Master's degree in Biochemistry from the Université de Montréal in 2006. Meriem then went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from the Université de Montréal in 2014.
