JON CARLSON

Jon Carlson has a diverse work experience in the mining industry. JON is currently working for Arctic Canadian Diamond Company Ltd. as the Head of Exploration & Project Development, a position they assumed in October 2021. Prior to this, Jon worked as a Senior Manager of Exploration at the same company from March 2021 to November 2021.

Before joining Arctic Canadian Diamond Company Ltd, Jon was employed by Dominion Diamond Corp. where they served as the Manager of Strategic Planning from September 2013 to February 2021.

Jon also worked at BHP Billiton as the Head of Resource Planning & Development from September 2011 to April 2013. In this role, they were responsible for long-range planning activities for the EKATI Diamond Mine, including the life of mine plan and the 5-year plan. JON also provided support for capital projects and was a member of the Ekati Leadership Team.

Jon Carlson completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geology at West Virginia University from 1975 to 1979. JON then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economic Geology from Colorado State University, studying from 1979 to 1983.
