Karen Clanton

Karen Clanton is the Vice President of Corporate Communications at Donnelley Financial Solutions. Karen has over 25 years of experience in communications and diversity & inclusion.

Karen began their career as a managing editor at CCH Incorporated, where they turned around a failing product line. Karen then spent three years as the project manager and internal communications manager at DLA Piper, where they were the lead writer for the internal newsletter and helped establish brand and marketing collateral for the firm's national D&I initiative. In 2008, Karen became the director of diversity & inclusion at Perkins Coie LLP, where they developed and implemented programs to promote a culture of equity and inclusion.

Karen has been with Donnelley Financial Solutions since August 2020. In their current role as VP of Corporate Communications, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's internal and external communications, including media relations, employee communications, crisis communications, and investor relations.

Karen Clanton has a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, a Certificate in Change Leadership from Cornell University, and a B.A. in English Literature from Georgetown University. Karen also studied abroad in England at King's College London.
