Matthew Young

Matthew Young has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matthew began their career as an Outside Sales Representative at Platinum Protection, where they successfully sold residential home security systems. Matthew then worked as an Intern at The Evogi Group, conducting market research for a new product. Following this, Matthew served as an Outside Sales Representative at Evergreen Waste Services before joining C.H. Robinson as a Financial and Business Data Analyst Intern, analyzing P&L, customer accounts, and employee management.

Matthew went on to work at Brigham Young University as a Student Instructor for Italian Language Studies. During this time, they taught Italian classes, created lesson plans, and provided additional tutoring. Matthew then interned at Southwest Airlines, overseeing CRM projects and managing Salesforce integrations. Here, Matthew also worked as a CRM Business Analyst, integrating Cargo and Charter processes into Salesforce.

Matthew gained significant experience at Google, starting as an Operations Coordinator at Google People Services, managing HR programs and developing a custom web application. Matthew then worked as a Program Manager in the Office of the Chief of Staff and later as a Strategy & Operations Lead in Cloud Engineering, focusing on hiring programs, product operations, and resource planning. Their most recent role at Google was as a Senior Strategy & Operations Lead in Cloud Engineering, where they developed P&L reporting solutions.

Currently, Matthew holds the position of Advisor at Doowii, Inc. and will soon transition into the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Matthew Young obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Leadership from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Business Management with a focus on Finance from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 2007 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Matthew also holds certifications from Salesforce, including Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (SCAA), and Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA).
