Brendon Allen

Brendon Allen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Brendon began their career at GE Consumer & Industrial as an Engineering Co-op from January 2005 to August 2007. Brendon then joined Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, where they participated in the LEAP program from July 2008 to April 2010, and subsequently worked as a New Product Development - Electrical Engineer from April 2010 to January 2011. Brendon later served as an Electrical Systems Engineer from January 2011 to September 2012. Brendon then joined STANLEY Security as a Senior Systems Engineer from September 2012 to April 2016, and later as an Advanced Engineering Manager from April 2016 to February 2017. Most recently, they are working for dormakaba, first as a Senior Manager Product Innovation from February 2017 to February 2021, followed by the role of AVP Product Innovation - Alvarado from February 2021 to August 2022. Presently, they hold the position of Chief Solutions Architect at dormakaba from July 2022.

Brendon Allen earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their undergraduate education, they also obtained various certifications such as Academy Accreditation - Generative AI Fundamentals from Databricks in November 2023, MIT Technology and Innovation Acceleration Program from MIT xPRO in 2022, Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals from Coursera in 2020, Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2020, and AAADM Certified Inspector from the American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers.
