Kevin "Buzz" Barrette

Kevin "Buzz" Barrette has a wealth of experience in the medical field. Kevin "Buzz" began their career in 2009 as a Research Assistant at Boston Medical Center. In 2015, they moved to Kaiser Permanente as a Resident Physician. From 2016 to 2019, they held the role of Chief Resident Physician at Stanford Health Care. During this time, they also worked as a Clinical Instructor at Stanford University, where they won the "Best Fellow Abstract" Award at the 2020 Spine Intervention Society Annual Meeting. In 2020, Kevin was an Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Francisco. Currently, they are working in two roles, as a Head of Division and Physician at Scripps Health, and as the Chief Medical Officer at Dorsal Health.

Kevin "Buzz" Barrette obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University between 2007 and 2011. Kevin "Buzz" then attended the Boston University School of Medicine and obtained their Doctor of Medicine - MD in 2015. In 2016, they obtained their Physician and Surgeon (Allopathic - M.D.) certification from the Medical Board of California. In 2019, they obtained their Fluoroscopy Supervisor and Operator certification from the Radiologic Health Branch in California. In 2020, they obtained their Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Kevin "Buzz" is also set to obtain their Certification in Pain Medicine from the American Board of Pain Medicine in 2022.
