Jose Barreto

Jose Barreto has over 25 years of work experience in various engineering and management roles. Jose is currently the Director of Engineering at Douglas Electrical Components, Inc. since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Rollon Corp. from 2013 to 2021, serving as both the Operations Manager and Engineering Manager. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at National Manufacturing Co., Inc. as a Design Engineer and Project Manager. Jose gained extensive experience at Weiss-Aug Co. Inc. from 2006 to 2010, where they served as a Die Design Engineer and Project Manager, focusing on designing tooling and automation machinery for the medical and automotive industry. Before that, from 2005 to 2006, they worked at Tinnerman Palnut Engineered Products as a Manufacturing Engineer and Die Design Engineer, leading various automotive fastener projects. Jose started their career at New Jersey Precision Technologies in 1998 as an Assistant Engineering Manager and Project Engineer. Lastly, they worked at Thomas and Betts as a Manufacturing Engineer from 1996 to 1998.

Jose Barreto earned a Master's Certificate in Project Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Jose obtained this degree between an unknown starting year and 2007. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology at the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004.
