Justin Shaw

Justin Shaw has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Most recently, they worked as a Property Accountant at Douglas Emmett starting in June 2023. Prior to that, Justin was a Staff Accountant at Bachem from October 2022 to April 2023, where they assisted in the month-end closing process and processed invoices. From November 2019 to August 2022, they served as a Staff Accountant at JOSE L. DAROYA, CPA, A PC, reconciling bank accounts and preparing financial statements for various small businesses. Before that, Justin gained experience as a Marketing Analyst at Civic Financial Services from September 2018 to October 2019, where they reported on company performance and managed lead distribution. Justin also had an earlier role as a Marketing Intern at the same company from May 2018 to September 2018. Justin's work experience also includes an accounting internship at Sears Appliance & Hardware from January to June 2017, where they managed cash deposits, audited financial records, and organized financial reports.

Justin Shaw completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting at Arizona State University from 2018 to 2019. Justin also obtained additional certifications, including a QuickBooks Certification from Quickbooks Online Certified ProAdvisor in October 2020, a CA Tax Update certification from Pronto Tax School in May 2020, and a Basic Income Tax certification from Pronto Tax School in April 2020.
