Brent W. Jones

Brent W. Jones currently serves as Senior Vice President of Training, Culture & Community at Dow Jones since April 2022 and has held the role of Masthead Editor for Culture, Training & Outreach at The Wall Street Journal since February 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing culture initiatives and training programs for the global newsroom. Brent also leads training and outreach initiatives as Assistant Managing Editor at The Wall Street Journal. Additionally, Brent W. Jones is the President of the Dow Jones News Fund since August 2021 and previously held the position of Head of Standards & Ethics for USA TODAY NETWORK, where guidance on editorial standards and diversity initiatives was provided. Brent's earlier experience includes a role as Director of Standards & Staffing Administration at USA TODAY, focusing on content quality control and staff training. Brent W. Jones holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Maryland.
