Samuel worked as an Associate Producer at MTV, contributing to projects related to MTV Artist Platform, including song, music video, and album premieres. Samuel also worked as a Production Assistant at MTV, where they managed the MTV Artist's homepage and gained expertise in proprietary content management systems, video editing, and digitizing footage.

In addition, Samuel worked as a Broadcast Associate at CBS News, where they managed and summarized footage for a cable reality TV show. Samuel also worked as a Writer for Dime Magazine, iHipHop, Slam Online, and URB.com, covering topics such as basketball, music, and pop culture.

Samuel Cadet attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick from 2005 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Journalism and Media Studies. Following this, they enrolled at Syracuse University in 2008, completing a Master's degree in Television Radio and Film by 2009. Prior to their time at Rutgers, Samuel had briefly attended Morehouse College in 2004 and 2005, but did not obtain a degree from there.
