Biplab K. Deka

Biplab K. Deka has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Biplab began their career as an Assistant Architect at Jyoti Rath Associates, followed by a role as an Architect at Spall Associates in 2014. In 2015, they moved to Genesis Architects Pvt Ltd as an Architect. In 2016, they took on a Product Design Intern role at Whirlpool Corporation while also co-founding designasm STUDIO. In 2021, they became a Senior Industrial Designer at Jio Tesseract and is currently a Senior Product Designer at Dozee.

Biplab K. Deka has an extensive educational background. Biplab completed their 10th grade at Disneyland High School in 2005. Biplab then attended B Borooah College from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained their High School degree in the field of Science. In 2008, they graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. Biplab also obtained certifications in Design for the Elderly from Technische Universiteit Delft in 2016, Two Wheeler Mobility - SIAM Workshop from Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) in 2016, Advanced Technologies in Wood Working Machines & Applications from Institute Of Wood Science And Technology in 2015, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards Certification (NCARB) from Council of Architecture - India in 2013, and Revit Architecture from CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd. In 2017, Biplab K. Deka completed their Master of Design in Industrial and Product Design from Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
