Mohammed Akoojee

Mohammed Akoojee is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the logistics and financial sectors. Currently serving as CEO and Managing Director for sub-Saharan Africa at DP World, Mohammed has held key leadership positions including Chief Executive Officer for sub-Saharan Africa Logistics and Chief Operating Officer of Global Logistics. Prior to joining DP World, Mohammed was the CEO of Imperial Logistics and served as Chief Financial Officer at Imperial Holdings. Additional roles included Executive Director of Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Investor Relations at Imperial Holdings. Mohammed holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors in Accounting), is a Chartered Accountant (CA SA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), having completed education at the University of the Witwatersrand and Azaadville Secondary School.
