Pieter Janssen

Pieter Janssen has extensive work experience in the field of process engineering and project management. Pieter is currently working as a Lead Process Engineer at DPS Group Global, starting in November 2021. Pieter previously owned and operated their own company, Janssen Project Engineering Ltd., where they delivered production engineering projects in regulated environments and worked on assignments in Europe and beyond. Prior to that, they worked as a Process Engineer at Prochem Engineering, delivering design studies for pharmaceutical clients and leading procurement activities.

Before their independent work, Janssen held several roles at Kerry, including Project Engineering Lead for Europe & Russia, where they developed and executed CAPEX projects and delivered an engineering operating model to support business growth. Pieter also served as the Head of Engineering for Ireland, UK, Italy, and the Middle East at SPX FLOW, Inc., leading a team of process and mechanical engineers and managing complex technical projects. Pieter was also the Site Leader for the company's Ireland site and held positions such as Head of Project Management and Engineering and Project Manager.

Janssen's earlier experience includes working as a Project Manager at Invensys APV Ireland Ltd. and holding various roles at Stork Food & Dairy Systems, including Engineering Department Manager and Site Manager. Pieter also worked as a Product Manager at Stork Thermeq. Overall, Janssen has demonstrated expertise in process design, project management, and leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in various industries, including food, beverage, and medical products.

Pieter Janssen attended Delft University of Technology from 1986 to 1992, where they pursued a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
