Rebecca Sparrow

Rebecca Sparrow has over two decades of work experience in various leadership and management roles. Rebecca is currently working at Drax Group as the Head of Project and Programme Management since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Centrica for four years, starting in 2017. In Centrica, they held the roles of Delivery Director and Director PMO, where they were responsible for leading and supporting global transformation and project management initiatives. Before joining Centrica, they worked at British Gas for eight years, holding positions such as Head of Programmes and Engagement and Programme Manager. Rebecca also gained experience at Thomson (Technicolor) as an IT Director and IT International Programme Manager. In addition, they have worked at Panasonic as a Systems Manager and at Thomson Thorn Missile Electronics as a Systems Analyst. Early in their career, they worked as a Consultant at eqos. Overall, Rebecca Sparrow has a strong background in project and programme management, leading transformational change initiatives, and providing strategic guidance in various industries.

Rebecca Sparrow holds a Master's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering with Business Management from Brunel University London, which they obtained from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree from the same institution between 1993 and 1997. Rebecca also possesses a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®), obtained in November 2017 from the Scrum Alliance®.
