Gonzalo D. began their career in 2010 as a Research - Advanced Electrical Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, where they implemented a Twin Channel Active Roll Control (ARC) module into a prototype 2013MY Range Rover, rebuilt a circuit for a prototype Torque Vectoring Differential (TVD), and developed the interior audio system for the Jaguar CX-75 Paris Motor Show 2010 vehicle. In 2011, they remained in the same role at Jaguar Land Rover, where they were integrated into the Exterior Sound System Project for Hybrid/Electric Vehicles, responsible for investigating and testing available technologies, setting loudspeaker requirements, developing a Request for Quote (RFQ) document, and working with the legal department to understand pending legislation and its effects on the project.

In 2012, Gonzalo D. moved to British Airways as a Graduate Engineer, where they were responsible for investigating and preloading materials and spares for new fleet of aircraft arriving in Summer 2013, carrying out complex investigations of 777 T895 D-Ducts life usage cycles, summarizing findings into a presentation for the Chief Powerplant Engineer, and preparing and delivering a presentation to Senior Managers and Directors about the new Engineering Goals & Projects feeding into the 2014 BA Corporate Business Plan.

In 2014, Gonzalo D. joined Drayson Technologies as a Head of Product Management and Product Manager, where they drove initiatives to clean-up bugs across product portfolio, leading the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products, and delivering sales amounting to 50% of revenue target during the first year of supporting the Business Development function.

Gonzalo D. is currently the Head of Product and Business Development at Freevolt Technologies Limited, where they are leading the Freevolt technology pitch for the Smart Card Market across applications in secure access, cryptocurrency, healthcare and finance, setting out the Technology and Product Strategy, driving Business Development & Sales, preparing sales collateral, writing business plans, developing pricing models, and marketing activities for effective product positioning.

Gonzalo D. has a diverse educational background. Gonzalo started their education in 1995 at the American International School of Johannesburg, where they received an International Baccalaureate and an American High School Diploma in 2008. Gonzalo then attended Imperial College London, where they obtained a Masters in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with Management in 2012. In 2017, they completed a Product Management course at General Assembly. Most recently, they earned an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Quantic School of Business and Technology in 2020.
