David Ponce

David Ponce is an experienced professional in the fields of education technology and civil engineering. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at DREAM since June 2020, David leads an Ed-Tech start-up focused on preparing students for admission to top universities worldwide. Previously, David held the position of Ecuadorian Film Commission Director at the Instituto de Fomento a la Creatividad y la Innovación, where responsibilities included designing and implementing policies to enhance Ecuador's status as an international film destination. David's extensive background in civil engineering includes roles such as Coordinador de Infraestructura at Yachay Tech University and Jefe de Obras Públicas for the Municipio de Quito. David holds an MSc in Earthquake Engineering from Imperial College London and a BSc in Civil Engineering from New York University Abu Dhabi, with additional research experience at the University of Warwick.
