Adam Afaneh

Adam Afaneh is an accomplished founder and president of Business Economics Academia, affiliated with UCSC SOMeCA, showcasing strong leadership in team building and collaboration since January 2022. Concurrently, Adam serves as a Line Cook III and Chef de Tournant at Dream Inn in Santa Cruz and operates as a Sales Consultant at STEREO MAXX, INC. With a background in restaurant management, including a role as Restaurant Manager at Yafa Hummus, Adam demonstrated effective staff training and operational enhancements. Previous culinary experience includes multiple positions at Wente Vineyards, where responsibilities ranged from cooking for high-profile events to managing prep teams. Adam completed a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Economics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, after earning a significant foundation in education at Las Positas College and Livermore High School.
