Brendan Walsh has a comprehensive work experience in the aviation field. Brendan started their career as a Marine Officer and Student Naval Aviator, where they completed various training programs and demonstrated leadership potential, knowledge, and skill in aviation. Brendan then served in multiple roles within the United States Marine Corps, including being a Fighter Attack Pilot and F-35B Lightning II Instructor. In these roles, they were involved in operational deployments, training pilots, managing assets, and contributing to the development of training materials. Brendan also served as an Executive Officer and Commanding Officer, where they had responsibilities for overseeing personnel, assets, and fostering a positive organizational culture.

Recently, Brendan has worked at Delaware Resource Group as an F-35 Contract Instructor Pilot, providing support in military pilot training and acting as a subject matter expert in various aircraft systems. Brendan also joined Collins Aerospace as an Advanced Platform Integration Subject Matter Expert, where they inform emerging military applications and facilitates the implementation of Tactical Combat Training System capabilities.

Brendan Walsh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Catholic University of America, spanning from 1998 to 2002. Apart from their educational background, Brendan also achieved the certification of Professional Engineer (PE) from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in February 2021. Furthermore, they obtained the Airline Transport Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in May 2016.
