Fredrick Scuteri

COO, DriveWealth Institutional at DriveWealth

Fredrick Scuteri is the COO of DriveWealth Institutional. In this role, he is responsible for the oversight & management of the firm’s operations organization in support of its agency & proprietary trading businesses. Fredrick offers 25+ years of diverse brokerage experience as he has held senior roles at both investment banks as well as global asset management firms.

Prior to DriveWealth, Fredrick spent 7 years at AQR Capital Management, LLC, a global investment management firm, where he served as the head of trading operations & treasury. In this role, he was responsible for the oversight of the firms post trade management platform across global equities, futures, options, FX, repo, IRS, CDS, fixed income as well as managing its cash and collateral management program.

Fredrick began his career in 1995 at JPMorgan Securities as an institutional equity trader, facilitating the firm’s order flow around venture capital distributions, corporate buybacks and restricted stock sales. From there, Fredrick joined UBS’ Prime Brokerage group providing equity & option execution services to the firms hedge fund clients.

In 2005, Fredrick joined Cuttone & Company, the largest independent NYSE member firm at the time, to build out their agency electronic trading & prime brokerage business. In 2007, Fredrick was promoted to the firms’ COO, a role which has reassumed today at DriveWealth Institutional following its acquisition of Cuttone & Company. Additionally, He has held positions at Thomson Reuters, as Managing Director and Global Head of Hedge Fund strategy as well as COO & Co-Head of Managed Accounts & Prime Brokerage at I.A Englander.

Fredrick received his bachelor’s degree and MBA in Finance from St. John’s University and has previously held Series 7,63,63,55,9 & 10 licenses.
