Norm Johnson III

Norm Johnson III has a strong background in software engineering and full stack development. Norm began their career at Mediarif, Inc. in 2010, where they worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer for five years. In this role, they gained experience in developing and maintaining software systems.

In 2015, Norm joined Domo, Inc. as a Software Engineer, responsible for both front-end and back-end development. Norm played a key role in building and maintaining Java-based web connectors, as well as developing a front-end query and charting system using multiple technologies such as Javascript, React, Typescript, Backbone, and AngularJS.

In 2020, Norm joined Shareworks by Morgan Stanley as a Full Stack Engineer. Here, they integrated Shareworks systems with E*trade, allowing users with existing stock options to manage their accounts within the Shareworks platform. Additionally, they created a new system to assist investors in managing their investments and built out tax systems for administrators to handle user tax profiles and proper taxation of individuals with shares to exercise.

Most recently, in 2022, Norm joined Droplet as a Full Stack Engineer.

Norm Johnson III has a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from Weber State University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2014. Norm also has an Associate's degree in General Studies from the same university, which they obtained in 2014. Prior to attending Weber State University, Norm received their High School Diploma in Graphic and Multimedia Design and General Studies from Northridge High in 2003. In terms of certifications, Norm has obtained several, including "Learn and Understand Angular JS" from Udemy in January 2019, as well as certifications in various JavaScript topics such as "Discover DevTools," "JavaScript Best Practices," "JavaScript Road Trip Part 1," "JavaScript Road Trip Part 2," "JavaScript Road Trip Part 3," "Try Git," and "Try jQuery" from Code School.
