Ray Liu

Ray L. has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. In 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta, specializing in data analysis and development. Ray continued their research role in 2019 while also working as a Physical Design Intern/Developer at Microchip Technology Inc. In 2020, they gained experience in electronic engineering as an intern at Tricca Technologies. In 2021, they became an Associate Machine Learning Developer at AltaML before transitioning to their current role as a Junior Machine Learning Developer at DrugBank in 2022.

Ray L. attended the University of Alberta from 2016 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics with Co-op. Ray L. completed their degree with Distinction. In addition to their formal education, Ray L. also obtained several certifications. In November 2020, they obtained a certification as a Machine Learning Engineer from Workera. In July 2020, Ray L. obtained certifications in Data Visualization, Feature Engineering, and Intermediate Machine Learning from Kaggle.
