Lydia Jackson

Lydia J. has a diverse work experience. Lydia has been a Machine Learning Engineer and Data Analyst at Zelus Analytics since 2020. In 2017, they became the Technical Director at Asheville City Soccer Club. Lydia also joined dmarcian in 2020 as a New Business Analyst. From 2014 to 2017, they held various positions at Warren Wilson College, including Senior Woman Administrator/Head Women's Soccer Coach, Communications Director/Head Women's Soccer Coach, and Associate Head Women's Soccer Coach. From 2006 to 2013, they were a Professional Athlete for the Chicago Red Stars, Fortuna Hjorring (Denmark), MagicJack (West Palm Beach, FL), Sydney F. C (Australia), Central Coast Mariners (Australia), Cotia Kurdana (Brazil), and Santos F. C (Brazil). Lastly, they were a Junior Database Administrator at Charlotte Flooring from 2007 to 2009.

Lydia J. attended Clemson University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science. In 2014 and 2015, they attended Georgia Southern University and earned a Master of Science (MS) in Kinesiology/Coaching Education. In 2021, they obtained an Advanced R Programming certification from Coursera, and in 2020, they obtained a Python Data Science certification from IBM. Lydia is currently attending The University of Texas at Austin, where they are expected to earn an MS in Data Science by 2024.
