Drujba Glassworks AD (Druzhba Staklarski Zavodi AD Sofia) is a Bulgaria-based company that is principally engaged in the production, distribution and export of glass containers and packaging. It consists of two manufacturing units, in Sofia and in Plovdiv. The Plovdiv factory comprises of two glass melting furnaces, along with nine product formation lines. The Sofia factory has one glass melting furnace and four shaping lines and produces. The Company’s product range includes glass bottles and jars for the food industry, as well as glass packaging for non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. The Company sells its products domestically and abroad in more than 20 countries, including the Commonwealth of Independent States countries, Germany, Greece and the United Kingdom, among others. As of December 31, 2011, the Company’s major shareholder was Barek Overseas Limited with a stake of 52.60%.
