Jess Garretson

Jess Garretson, PHR has extensive work experience in human resources and finance. From 2017 to the present, they are currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Drummond Woodsum, where they previously worked as an HR Manager from 2017 to 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Benefits Specialist at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange from 2016 to 2017. Before that, Jess worked as a Payroll/Benefits Administrator at AFBA from 2011 to 2016. Jess started their career as a Financial Analyst at Penobscot Pension Services, Inc. in 2008 and held the position until 2010.

Jess Garretson, PHR, obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, Jess earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and English Literature from Simmons University from 2004 to 2008. Jess also holds the certification of Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®), which was obtained in January 2020 from HRCI.
