Simone Hemingway

Simone Hemingway has a range of experience in human resources and leadership roles. Simone began their career as a Global HR Manager at AXA Investment Managers in 1999. Simone then worked as a VP Human Resources at Marconi Communications, leading restructuring efforts across EMEA. Hemingway later joined Barclays Bank as the Head of Human Resources, overseeing the outsourcing of IT staff and managing bank-wide change programs. Simone then served as an HR & Change Director at Serco Integrated Transport, where they redesigned the organization of the Transport division. Hemingway also held the position of Group Human Resources Director at Alliance Medical, contributing to the business strategy and transformation program. Simone then became the Human Resources Director for the Healthcare Division at Care UK, leading HR and OD initiatives during significant competitor acquisitions. Prior to their current role, Hemingway worked as an HR Consultant at Priory Group and as a Regional HR Director at DS Smith, where they provided HR leadership for the North Region.

Simone Hemingway earned a BSc (1st Class) Hons in Business Studies from the University of Buckingham between 1991 and 1993. Later, they pursued an MSc in Organisational Behaviour at Birkbeck, University of London from 1997 to 2000.
