Vladimir Labov, FRM has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Vladimir started their career as an Intern at Citibank in 2010, where they worked in the Corporate and Investment Banking department. In the same year, they joined First Investment Bank as an Analyst specializing in Statistical Analysis and Models. After two years, Labov joined Cabot Credit Management as a Pricing Analyst. In 2013, they returned to First Investment Bank as a Senior Quantitative Analyst, a role they held until 2016. Labov then joined Indeavr as a Senior Data Analyst, where they used predictive analytics to solve various problems for clients in different industries. In 2015, they co-founded BG Excel. Currently, Labov is at DSK Bank, where they have taken on the positions of Senior Quantitative Analyst, Head of the Risk Assessment Section in the Credit Risk Management Division, and currently, Head of the Risk Assessment Department in the Risk Management Division.
Vladimir Labov, FRM, completed their MSc in Financial Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2008 to 2009. Before that, from 2004 to 2008, they obtained a double BSc in Finance and Accounting from the University of Economics Varna. Vladimir'searlier education includes attending the First Foreign Language High School Varna from 1999 to 2004, where they studied English and German languages, Mathematics, and Informatics.
In addition to their formal education, Vladimir Labov has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills. Vladimir completed "The Analytics Edge" course at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in July 2016. In June 2016, they completed the "Introduction to Recommender Systems" course at the University of Minnesota. Furthermore, they completed the following courses in 2014: "Introduction to Mathematical Thinking" and "Statistical Learning" at Stanford University, and "Introduction to Databases" at Stanford University. In February 2014, they completed the "Computing for Data Analysis (Programming in R)" course offered by Coursera.
