Julian Sommaro

Julian Sommaro has extensive work experience in the fragrance and flavor industry. Julian has held various roles at Firmenich, including SVP and Head of Ingredients Sales & Marketing, VP of Global Operations Strategy, and Head of Ingredients Strategy. Julian has also served on the board of directors for multiple companies in the industry, such as DRT-Anthea Aroma Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., Firmenich Bjorge Biomarin, Firmenich Kunming Aromatics Co Ltd, InnovAroma SA, Fider SAS, Essex Laboratories LLC., and Negev Aroma (Ramat Hovav) Ltd.

Julian Sommaro holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Geneva, which they obtained between 1995 and 1998. Julian then pursued their education at the same institution and earned a Master's degree in Biochemistry from 1998 to 2000. Prior to their university education, Julian completed their Maturité Fédérale in Science at Institut Florimont - Genève from 1991 to 1995.
