Richard Talian has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Richard began their career in 1996 at Virgin Atlantic Airways, where they held the position of Head of Market & Network Planning until 2002. Following that, Richard worked at Menzies Aviation as Manager of Business Information from 2002 to 2005. Richard then joined Gatwick Airport as Head of Commercial Planning from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, Richard joined Air New Zealand as Manager of Network Planning until early 2008. Finally, Richard joined Dubai Airports in 2008 and has held various roles, including Vice President of Strategy from 2008 to 2011, Senior Vice President of Strategy & Development from 2011 to 2014, and Executive Vice President of Strategy & Development from 2014 to the present.
Richard Talian attended the University of Bath from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics. In 1994, they enrolled in the University of Southampton and completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Transportation Planning and Engineering in 1995.
