Usama Salah

Usama Salah has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Usama began their career in 1986 as a Sales Representative at Rehabco - Canon Egypt. Usama then joined El-Ajou Group as a Sales Representative in 1988. In 1990, they worked as an Accountant at King Fahd Military Medical Complex, MODA. In 1995, they became a Senior Customer Service Officer at Mashreqbank. Since 1997, they have been associated with Dubai Islamic Bank, where they held various positions such as Manager - Cards Issuance & Processing, AVP - Head of Cards Operations, and currently, VP - Head of Cards Operations. In these roles, they have overseen multiple sub-units, including Financial processing unit, Cards Issuance & processing unit, and Fraud Control & Manual Authorization. Usama has been responsible for tasks like billing, settlement, reconciliation, chargeback, cards issuance, fraud monitoring, and managing manual authorizations. Their tenure at Dubai Islamic Bank has been extensive, ending in May 2015.

Usama Salah obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounts) degree from Ain Shams University, specializing in Accounting and Finance, from 1982 to 1986. Usama also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Blue Ocean Strategy, obtained in the year 2019.
