Carolyn Hughes

Carolyn Hughes has over 20 years of experience in business development and commercialization. Carolyn worked at BOC Edwards for 12 years, where they held various positions in product management, business development, and commercialization management. Carolyn also spent 2 years at IMEC in Belgium, a leading R&D center for Microelectronics and Nanotechnology. Currently, they are the Business Development Director at Invent Dublin City University, where they focus on commercializing the university's research through industry collaborations, licensing of technology, and the development of spin-out companies. Their expertise spans various sectors including advanced manufacturing, engineering, IoT, renewable energy, and clean tech.

Carolyn Hughes holds a Ph.D. and B.Sc. in Chemistry from The University of Manchester.
