Zaid Kahtan A.

Zaid Kahtan A. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Zaid Kahtan began their career as a Technical Supervisor at Kingston University in 2006 and worked there until 2011. During this time, they also served as a Research Fellow in Materials of Science from 2009 to 2014. In 2011, Zaid transitioned to the Saudi International Petrochemical Company where they worked as a Scientist in the Research and Development department for a year. In 2012, they joined Dubai Cable Company (Ducab) as the Materials Development Manager, a role they held until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, Zaid served as the Product & Technology Development Manager at Ducab. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Technical at Ducab.

Zaid Kahtan A.'s education history includes earning a PhD in Intrinsically Conducting Polyaniline Blends from Kingston University, which they attended from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry from Kingston University, attending from 2001 to 2002. In 2010, Zaid earned a Certificate in Essentials of Leadership from the London Business School. In 2009, they achieved a Certificate in National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health from the British Safety Council. During 2012, Zaid earned three certificates, one in MATRIZ-Inventive Problem Solving from Dubai Quality Group, and two others in Strategic Plastics and Plastic Testing Methods from The Higher Institute of Plastics Fabrication. In 2014, Zaid completed studies in Long Term Thermal Ageing of Polymeric Materials (LTTA) at Under Laboratory (UL).
