Job description

Duetto is looking for a collaborative self-starter to join our industry-leading technology team that is helping our hotel and resort customers achieve maximum profitability.  

As a Director of Hospitality Solutions, you will be responsible to support Duetto’s sales team in the pursuit of new business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities by providing subject matter expertise, delivering compelling demos, assessing the technical feasibility of a proposed solution, and developing strong internal and external relationships. You will also be responsible for representing Duetto at conferences, industry events, and in public speaking engagements across North America. It is imperative that you have a strong customer centric mentality, genuine curiosity for the breadth of the hospitality industry’s challenges, ability to match those pain points with Duetto’s growing solution set, and speaking presence to capture industry audiences across all regions of the North American market. 

Desired Skills & Expertise

  • Must have 3+ years of hotel revenue management experience with familiarity across varying property types i.e. city center, conference, alternative accommodations, resort, etc.
  • Required to travel up to 40% on an annual basis.
  • Must have familiarity with the hospitality technology ecosystem.
  • Must be comfortable speaking in front of large audiences. 
  • Comfortable working in a remote role.  
  • Must be able to understand complex customer business problems and map needs and systems to Duetto’s suite of solutions. 
  • Prepare and deliver value-based demonstrations highlighting Duetto’s powerful platform ecosystem.
  • Be the trusted advisor for prospects and customers via product expertise, industry knowledge, workflow outlines, RFP responses, and product roadmap discussions. 
  • Partner with sales to deliver on bookings plan by navigating complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles with C-level executives.
  • Act as a liaison between Product, Sales, and Engineering, sharing customer feedback to help craft the product roadmap; build relationships with engineering, customer success, and other parts of the sales organization to increase technical and business expertise.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tell a compelling story and convey technical concepts to a mixed skill audience.
  • Ability to lead discovery work and tailor Duetto’s solutions to the unique needs of the prospect/client. 
  • Be the expert in the product by participating in ongoing trainings; continue to stay up to date in the trends of the hospitality industry to partner with marketing/sales enablement. 
  • Multilingual (French and/or Spanish) preferred but not required.
