In 2013, they were a National Science Foundation Water Quality Researcher at the University of South Florida. In 2014, they took on the role of Water Resources Consultant at ICF International. In 2015, they became an Associate Data Scientist at Zynga. In 2016, they were a Data Scientist and then a Senior Data Scientist at BuzzFeed. In 2018, they were a Senior Data Scientist at Glossier, Inc. In 2019, they became a Staff Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist, Machine Learning at Rent The Runway. Finally, in 2021, they became a Staff Data Scientist at Emerson Collective and in 2022, they became a Software Engineer, Tech Lead and Data Scientist at Dune.

Meghan Heintz obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Engineering from Humboldt State University between 2008 and 2013. Meghan also holds a Data Science certification from General Assembly.
